The George is at it's heart is a Traditional Coaching Inn. Standing proud in the centre of the Harbour, it has been serving drinks, food and giving guests somewhere to sleep since the turn of the 19th century. We also have a variety of extremely comfortable en-suite guest rooms. Experience our luxurious signature solid oak "Four Poster" room. We also have superior doubles, 3 person family rooms and the "Jack & Jill" family room sleeping 4 people in 2 rooms with a shared en-suite. West Bay Harbour is known as the Golden Gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. It has been a popular holiday destination for years as well as a being a busy fishing and leisure harbour. The recent ITV drama BROADCHURCH brought the Bay to the attention of millions of TV viewers around the world and showcased the beautiful scenery around the Bay. The market town of Bridport lies 1.5m to the north and holds bi-weekly markets as well as a monthly farmers market.
Each of the rooms have been tastefully decorated yet all retain an individual charm and have great views across West Bay Harbour or the surrounding countryside.
