Overview

Like cars? The Haynes International Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset, is the UK's largest exhibition of some of the greatest cars in the world and features 400 mint condition motors and bikes from across the 20th century. From sparkling Rollers and Bentleys to the Ferrari 360 and Jaguar XJ220, this cathedral to the engine is a sight to behold. Highlights? The Red Room which is home to 50 stunning red sports cars such as the 1955 MGTF, The International Hall with its 1978 Rolls Royce Shadow Mk2, The American Collection with its 50s wings and fins and the Vroom Room with high-powered sports cars through the decades. There are absolutely loads of things for the kids to do too – an outdoor motor-themed play area with interactive garage and mini road system, inside activity centre, soft play bus and film bus plus there's the chance to learn the workings of an engine and get your picture taken in the Ferrari F1 show car.

Reviews

Very good collection of cars and bikes ranging from early days to present day. Good children's outside and inside play areas. Good gift shop and reasonably priced cafe and entrance fee.

Excellent day out for adults and children. Lots to do and a spectacular collection of cars. Good cafe with home cooked food. Play area for children outside with go-karts is excellent.
