TRAVEL INSPIRATION

Lucy McGuire is a travel writer who has contributed to print publications such as Escapism, BALANCE and Square Mile and websites such as Suitcase, Weather2Travel, Family Traveller and LoveExploring. She also runs the blog The Travel Journo. During her 12-year journalism career, she has worked for regional newspapers, global travel companies and women's magazines. She has also written for trade press and inflight magazines. After growing up in North Yorkshire, she has worked her way north to south, living in Edinburgh, Manchester, London, and now Hertfordshire. Her favourite travel experiences include a three-month sabbatical in Eastern and Southern Africa and several trips to the Caribbean.
