recently stayed in this beautiful hotel. I always hate going away and not being able to take my dog with me so this hotel had already met my expectations! The moment we entered reception, we were met with a very friendly, welcoming greeting and then shown around the hotel before going to our room. The room itself did not disappoint, it was a family room, with bath and shower and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. During our one night stay we enjoyed the Gin bar, the staff were very friendly, fussed over my dog which she loved, gave her a bowl of biscuits while we enjoyed a glass or two of gin and tonic. I was able to take my dog Annie pretty much anywhere within the hotel and grounds with the exception of the dining areas but the staff were more than happy to arrange a table for me outside the dining area so that I didn't have to leave my dog in the room by herself. I cannot fault the staff, they were absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, very fresh and very well presented and lastly the cream teas were, in all honesty, the best I've ever tasted. I will definitely be staying again but for a longer period so that I am able to enjoy more walks along the canal and experience more of the surrounding areas.

This 2 night break was to belatedly celebrate our wedding anniversary (my husband was in hospital on the original date!). It wasn't in the same area as we had originally planned, but we have friends in the area so arranged to visit them as well. We had a lovely friendly welcome from the girls in reception who showed us to our room (all staff in reception we encountered were very friendly). This was very comfortable, clean, quite large and had a view over the hotel grounds which was great, especially first thing am when the rabbits were running round in a nearby pasture. The bar area was quite small, but there are also 2 lounges where you can take drinks (a huge selection of gins!). We dined in the restaurant on both nights and, what can I say, the food was wonderful - thank you so much Sandor for the beautifully presented and excellently cooked meals. At breakfast we were served by Michaela who is a very efficient and friendly young lady. The breakfast was also beautifully presented and well cooked with a large variety on offer. Our thanks go also to Attila and Marius - our waiters from Romania - who made our stay very happy.

We had a lovely four day break at this very comfortable and beautifully furnished hotel. We had a gorgeous room in the main hotel and, as well as a nice selection of teas, there was a cafetiere with freshly ground coffee in the room. The hotel is very well situated on the outskirts of Bradford-on-Avon and it is a 15 minute walk into town. If you don't wish to walk and want to give the car and the driver a rest, very close to the hotel, there is a very conveniently situated bus stop with a bus running every half hour into Bradford-on-Avon and then onto Bath. The Kennet Avon canal is very close by for a walk. There is a nice conservatory and other cosy rooms to sit in downstairs and a good sized dining room. The freshly cooked breakfasts were very good and the dinners were absolutely delicious. There is also a very extensive gin bar with very knowledgeable bar staff who will prepare you a bespoke drink, based on your personal tastes. The staff are absolutely charming and efficient. We would love to come back again.

Have just returned from a one night stay at Widbrook Grange and all I can say it was fabulous. The staff were lovely from arrival to checkout. Our room was stunning we stayed in room 6 “Artists Room” with a roll top bath in the room and a separate walk in rainfall shower & toilet. The attention to detail was lovely from the artists box to hold the tea and coffee and the retro radios. Such lovely touches as packets of filter coffee and a cafetière to brew it in. Shampoo, shower gel, hand soap all locally produced with natural products and were amazing. The bed was huge and very comfortable had the best nights sleep ever the pillows just enveloped you. The food was delicious not the largest portions but superb and after 3 courses we couldn't have eaten any more. All in all it was a fantastic stay everything about the hotel was lovely and I would recommend wholeheartedly.

stayed two nights with my wife at Widbrook Grange and we were both delighted with the hospitality shown by Hakan and his team. We stayed in the main house in a very comfortable double bedroom, (Artists room), and also enjoyed the comforts of the gin bar and relaxing lounges. The food and service were outstanding and Attila kept us entertained in a very professional and friendly manner. I am sure we will be back, maybe even with our dog as the Grange thoughtfully provides different areas to cater for all.

We had a two night break. The hotel was perfect with warm welcome from the staff. Our room was in the main house. It was very atmospheric & the bed extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gin bar for pre dinner drinks. The food was excellent & beautifully presented. The hotel has lovely lounges with open fireplaces. There are plenty of places to visit nearby or for walking. We will be going back to enjoy this gem of a hotel.

Excellent 3 night stay, with husband & Dogs! Large spacious room. Very welcoming on arrival / check in. Atmosphere & environment was very relaxed, however service was very good. A very pleasant, country hotel, lots of lovely features. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to take their dogs with them

Wonderfully quirky hotel, with beautiful large rooms. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff in all areas. Good cream tea served in the afternoon and the restaurant was even better than anticipated. Nice canal walk nearby and the local train station in only 15 minute ride to Bath.

Widbrook Grange was amazing, I was in interior heaven here. The room was so gorgeous with so many lovely little added touches. The Gin bar was great and so were the cosy lounges. Breakfast was yum and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to visit again!
