There is nothing negative about this place! Highly recommend. Rooms clean and quiet. Lovely coastal walk. Recommend bistro restaurant! Breakfast was delicious had full English. Would definitely return

We had a balcony room overlooking Combegate beach, however, blustery cool weather kept the balcony for viewing purposes only. There for 2 nights and had every meal in the hotel with each meal being excellent. There are 2 restaurants - the main dining room and the Bistro - with dining room having a fixed menu with a choice in each course - while the Bistro has a full menu with an excellent choice of more basic dishes. Obviously the Bistro is the cheaper option otherwise there is no real difference in the quality of food. Both have an excellent w...

Very nice hotel, great location and very friendly staff with some amazing food. Ideal if you are after a break away to see the delights of the north devon coast. Very comfy bed and the breakfast definitely set us up for the day ahead

From the minute we walked in the door and were met with a warm, welcoming smile, I knew this would be a great stay. The receptionist even insisted on helping us with our luggage! We stayed in a king room with sea view and balcony for two nights. We had fabulous views of the Bay and the room had every convenience - comfy chairs for reading or watching television (but why watch television with those views?) and an in-room coffee and tea service that was replenished daily. Housekeeping was excellent. Our towels were changed every time we used them...

My wife and myself enjoyed a perfect stay here. We had a ground floor room with it's own terrace. Our room was large, light and airy with a spacious bathroom with every facility imaginable. We had magnificent views of Woolacombe Bay and Lundy Island. The hotel has a fabulous indoor pool with large jacuzzi and lovely steam room. The restaurant gives diners spectacular views. The food is perfect, especially the local seafood and meats. The bar does a wide range of beautifully presented cocktails expertly prepared by the barman. The Afternoon T...

Just returned from our third stay at the Watersmeet hotel. It is without doubt the best hotel we have stayed in in the UK and we have stayed in so many. Friendly, relaxed, lovely rooms with wonderful sea views, very helpful and caring staff and the most excellent food. Indoor and outdoor heated pools and wonderful walks straight from the hotel. We are booked for May 2020 - cannot wait

Excellent as ever. Usual high quality food we treated ourselves to the restaurant for two of our three nights. Very comfortable beds, lovely en-suite bathroom with warm towels. Lovely staff. Great fun in the indoor & outdoor pools. No need to use the car all weekend- just wander into Woolacombe or for something more strenuous treat yourself to a fantastic walk around Morte point and lunch in Mortehoe

Just spent a two night break at Watersmeet hotel. What a lovely time we had, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The reception staff were particularly helpful. Sorting out internet for us and little changes to our room. All done with a lovely smile. Our room was great, comfy bed, easy chairs and an amazing terrace overlooking the sea with sun beds settee and table. We booked dinner, bed and breakfast. Dinner was in the Pavilion and was very special from the first. We went to the bar for drinks and were served lovely tasty canapés, a nic...
