From Gatwick Airport, take the M23 towards the M25. Continue on the M25 until exit 8, then take the A3 towards Guildford. Follow the A3 until it becomes the A40, and continue on the A40 until exit for Stroud. From Stroud, follow the signs for Painswick, which is located in the heart of the Cotswolds. From London, take a train to Stroud station. From Stroud, take the number 66 bus towards Painswick, which runs every hour. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Stroud station to Painswick, which takes about 10 minutes.
