The manor house was built originally in the 1860's to serve as an orphanage to house a vast amount of unfortunate children requiring shelter in the Victorian era. Thankfully, a need for such a large orphanage is no longer required and today, Stonecross Manor welcomes residents of a different kind, providing hotel accommodation complete with a small leisure complex.
