Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa

Submit Review
Lucknam Park is one of England's finest country house hotels offering a unique and diverse range of facilities including an award-winning spa, Michelin star dining, casual brasserie, equestrian centre and cookery school.

What makes a stay at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa unique?

The setting really is total wow-factor. When you enter through an avenue of Beech and Lime trees and set eyes on the Palladian mansion, you know you have arrived somewhere truly special. There's horses grazing in nearby paddocks, stunning historic gardens to explore and the hotel building itself is full of character. The spa is the ultimate place for relaxation with a blissful indoor to outdoor hydrotherapy pool overlooking the arboretum.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa?

There are 42 bedrooms which includes 13 suites, each individually designed with views across the parkland, courtyard or gardens. There are a number of family rooms available and twin rooms are available on request. Within the estate, there are two country cottages which offer your own private haven of luxury. Squire's cottage sleeps 8 people and Keeper's Cottage sleeps 6 people - a great option for families and for groups.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Chippenham area?

Lucknam Park is just 8 miles from the historic city of Bath which offers impressive architecture, beautiful parks as well as many independent shops and restaurants. There are also a number of quaint Cotswold villages just a short drive away including Castle Combe and Lacock which are both popular period drama filming locations.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

A delicious full English and continental breakfast is available at the hotel, served in the former ballroom of the house. There are two superb restaurants to choose from at Lucknam Park; a fine dining restaurant where the Executive Chef Hywel Jones has held a Michelin Star since 2006, and then a more casual option The Brasserie which adjoins the spa. Both use fine, local ingredients in many of the dishes and herbs are picked from the hotel's kitchen garden.
