Overview

The Lemore Estate is a luxury country resort in Herefordshire, featuring a 17th Century Manor House, en-suite lodges, outdoor dining hubs, kitchen gardens and country experiences. Nestled in 11 acres of grounds, The Lemore Estate is quickly becoming the ultimate rural retreat in the heart of the English countryside.

What makes a stay at Lemore Estate unique?

So.... normally, you might be in Barbados at the time of the annual carnival, celebrating the harvest of the sugar cane, sipping on Mount Gay cocktails with the sound of steel drums, or dancing on the tables at the Volee Douche for Après Ski after a blast on the slopes or casting a line out the back of your yacht in the hope that you will impress the family and the cook on board!  Perhaps you would normally be looking forward to a road trip across Europe, visiting vineyards, an opera and a few museums and tasting some fabulous fayre from market towns along the way, or perhaps you would be planning a luxurious villa with all the trimmings for a special occasion.

Lemore understands what you are missing, they really do and are with you!

So why Lemore? Why is Lemore unique you ask?

For those of you who are regular visitors, you know.  For the rest of you, you have a treat ahead... it is a special place. Lemore is about friendships, values, family and connections that will last a lifetime.  Once you visit, you are connected, you are a part of Lemore and the Lemore journey.  Whether a tree has been planted in respect of your stay, a new feature or facility has been introduced because you mentioned it in conversation over drinks, or you simply enjoy all that Lemore stands for and most importantly its values, you are very welcome.

The last 14 years of restoration and development are simply for you to enjoy. That is what Lemore does.

Experience the Lemore journey for yourself - from hitting pots and pans for a steel band sound effect, to creating piña coladas and playing the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach, to even having a snow machine - you just need to turn up and imagine - Lemore will do the rest.

Lemore exists to make a difference - would you like to make a difference too?

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Lemore Estate?

Lemore Manor dates back to 1640 and was built originally as a hunting lodge for the Bishop of Hereford. The Manor has now been transformed into individually designed rooms, elegantly decorated with chic wallpapers, Egyptian cotton linens, luxurious mattresses and en-suite bathrooms. In addition to rooms in the Manor, Lemore offers luxurious self-contained residences.

Enjoy an unparalleled romantic getaway in Lemore's Garden Room - close the door and enter another world. With exclusive use of your own private hot tub in the secluded secret garden which boasts unspoilt views of the Herefordshire countryside, The Garden Room is the perfect escape for couples or as an elegant celebration space, set aside from the Manor House but of course with access to every aspect of the Estate.

Lemore's Lodges are a true escape from the ordinary. As a perfect all-year-round getaway to the country, you can take a dip in your own private hot tub, cosy up around your own fire-pit, cook al fresco with your own pizza oven and BBQ, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the Estate's surroundings. Each of Lemore's 4 Lodges are flexible to make them a perfect escape for couples or small groups.

A stay in each of Lemore's residences includes breakfast in the Manor and guests may request double or twin beds. To compliment your stay or day trip to Lemore, enhance your wellbeing with wonderful therapieutic massages and treatments at The Spa, using 100% organic British products to leave you feeling revitalised and rejuvenated. If something more adventurous takes your fancy, Lemore can put together culinary experiences, country and wildlife adventures, life-changing experiences or a bespoke experience just for you.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Eardisley area?

The Lemore Estate is set in the picturesque village of Eardisley, just outside of Hereford in the Wye valley. Eardisley is close to the border with Wales and is a part of the Black and White Village Trail. In the heart of Herefordshire, Hereford Cathedral dates from 1079 and is home to the Hereford Mappa Mundi - a map of the known world from the 13th Century and restored in the 20th Century. There are several festivals hosted in Hereford, including the Beer on the Wye Festival, the Hereford Food Festival and the Three Choirs Festival. If you fancy an adventure or life-changing experience in the local area, Lemore can plan one just for you.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

Lemore's picturesque self-contained Lodges and serene Garden Room will be open from 12th April for bed and a delivered continental breakfast hamper, with a complimentary mini bar awaiting your arrival. You can relax in the comfort of your own private dining and garden areas, with ingredients delivered to your door to dine alfresco with your own pizza oven and BBQ. Guests can also choose to enjoy a delivered Grazing Board including delicious local cheeses, cured meats, olives, artisan breads, crackers, chutney, hummus, dried nuts, seasonal fruit and sweet treats.

There are an array of dining experiences available at The Lemore Estate. From the formal and elegant Manor House and Coach House, to the informal and lively Pizza on the Terrace, to tranquil and intimate dining in your own private Glass House or Lakeside Pod, you can enjoy dining at Lemore whatever your palette. Experience local deliciousness with divine dishes made from seasonally changing ingredients that reflect Lemore's farm to table philosophy - expect the finest local ingredients, handled with respect and creativity.

We only booked the day before for a relaxing night away and that’s exactly what we got. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful made us feel so welcome. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated with a lovely four poster. Spotlessly clean. So glad we booked a table for dinner. Clearly a well thought through menu. The pigeon breast starter was so tasty and the mains of sea bass and fillet steak were full of flavour, cooked to perfection and the lemon tart melted in the mouth. If staying you should book for dinner. The breakfast in the morning didn’t disappoint either. We would certainly come back and stay for longer.

The location was perfect the manor and grounds are lovely. The room (no 5) on front of house was large with a big bed with a very warm duvet. The towels were nice and fluffy and the shower was super. Margaret and the staff could not do enough to help from the moment we arrived. We had an excellent meal on the Sunday night (a steak dish) washed down with nice bottle of red. All covid measures were in place. We very much want to return with our daughter and granddaughter when things get back to normal. Thanks again folks for lovely couple of relaxing days.

Margaret

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff & amazing food. Highly recommend. Staff exceptionally welcoming & friendly. Lemore is grand without being stuffy. Cool wallpapers! Comfy bed, lovely pillows & duvet. Good shower. Nice breakfast. We had dinner in the Chalet... food was amazing. (& no mean feat for staff to carry everything from the house to the Chalet, in the dark!) Granted, it is not cheap but i think a price worth paying. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay again.

Jackie

Only stayed for one night, however could not fault anything with this property. Upon arrival, instantly you could feel that the hotel colleagues would do everything they possible could to make the stay as memorable and relaxing as possible. The lodge with the wood burning hot tub was fantastic value for money and a great experience. Looking forward to staying again.
