Went to Carey’s Manor with my wife for our mini moon and cannot recommend it enough. The staff were so welcoming as friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The spa was amazing and really relaxed the two of us after what had been a stressful 12 months. Luxurious and comfortable room and amazing food.

Fantastic Sunday lunch and overnight stay. A really lovely hotel which has a charm of its own. The room was nice and light and so tastefully decorated - in keeping with the hotel. Jeremy the Assistant Manager made us feel very special as I'm sure he does with all the guests. The staff are equally friendly and extremely helpful - they do a grand job!.. all in all a fabulous hotel.

We booked 20 rooms at this beautiful hotel for a group of people from America to attend the Goodwood Revival. The guests were so happy and comfortable with the welcome and ambience of this quintessentially English four star country hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and our every need was more than catered for. The food was excellent and the staff great. It felt like they were feeling happy to help with anything. There were wild horses and donkeys wandering the streets. Such a fabulous place. Can’t wait to go back!

A splendid afternoon spent in the tranquillity of restaurant overlooking the beautiful terrace gardens. Superb service from Abbie & the team, & our expectations were far exceeded regarding the food offerings. Beautifully presented taste temptations & totally pleasurable to eat with a nice selection of teas, all in all a satisfying & relaxing way to spend a sunny bank holiday afternoon ... & to celebrate a special birthday! We live locally, so will be visiting you again ... & we shall be recommending the Afternoon Tea experience at The Montague Arms Hotel to all our friends & family. I can't wait to return!

This was our 3rd visit, and 3rd taster menu (over 3 years). The menu is delicious and they will cater for any dietary requirements easily and happily. We did the wine pairing this time, and the staff proved to be equally knowledgeable about wine and food. A great evening.

Met with eleven family and friends for Afternoon Tea on Sunday. Had a lovely relaxed time enjoying a good selection of teas, sandwiches and sweet treats in The Oak Room and then had a walk through the beautiful garden to finish off. Looking forward to another visit soon

Waiting staff were friendly with a great knowledge of the food. As a vegetarian I was delighted to see they had a good selection on their man menu as well as a separate vegan menu.

The homemade treacle bread and fennel seed bread with spiced hop houmous and cucumber houmous was superb!

I had the goats cheese panna cotta with beetroot and goats cheese bon bon and my mum had the Panisse with kumquat, parsley and pumpkin. Both delicious.

I had the ricotta cannelloni with pumpkin puree and spiced cashews and that was outstanding and my mum had the hake with barley and samphire which she really enjoyed.

We had a 15min break before dessert, they may not be large portions but they are certainly filling. I had the hazelnut cake with sherry and caramelised banana but think I may be missed the banana because all I got with the cake was a sherry parfait. My mum, however loved her yogurt parfait with meringue and raspberry.

Overall, we had a fabulous dinner and I would certainly recommend this restaurant for dinner, and as a lover of fine dining I would come back here.

Thank you very much to everyone in the Cambium.

We recently visited Cambium for an afternoon tea, and were blown away by the whole experience. Firstly, the setting of Carey's Manor is absolutely beautiful. The staff who looked after us were very attentive and friendly as they dealt smoothly with our large group. Last but not least the food was delicious and well presented, with various dietary requirements within the group being met.

We would definitely recommend a visit, and are certainly looking forward to returning ourselves.

Amazing place, staff are wonderful and so nice and accommodating, few little touches thrown in that make your stay more special. Highly recommend. The French bistro food was delicious and if you don’t like something on the menu they will make something you do like. Beautiful place.

This fine restaurant is part of the Montagu Arms Hotel, next door to historic Beaulieu Abbey. Situated in the New Forest (no longer 'new,' since William the Conqueror planted it in 1079!), where ponies and donkeys roam freely, the custom is to sit on the beautifully landscaped patio and gardens and have a drink (we had campari and sodas) while looking over the menu. When brought indoors to the lush Tudor-style dining room, the very attentive and friendly staff made sure we were comfortable and soon brought our starters (cold courgette soup; duck confit; smoked salmon terrine) and then the mains: mostly roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, but several other delicious choices. Wine selection very good. Desserts included in the one price, creme brulee, a chocolate financier, a few others. We four were celebrating three birthdays, so after the coffee we were brought a second set of desserts...maybe a bit too much, but we left happy!

We booked a good deal online and arrived for our spa day. The whole experience was wonderful! Breakfast was lovely, a continental range of pastries, fruits, cheese and meat.

My husband and I experience the couples mud treatment - this was quite fun!

Lunch in the Thai restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent!

The spa is really really good with plenty to do. Huge relaxation rooms, hydrotherapy areas - lots of lovely hidden gems!

We didn't want to leave! Thanks so much! We all has a wonderfully relaxing day!
