Overview

Alvaston Hall is a half-timbered country mansion that dates back thousands of years to when it was the home of a Saxon farmer named Aelfgar. It is now a Grade II listed Victorian structure. With award-winning landscaping, a huge pool, and a variety of restaurants and cafés, it provides a pin-drop calm atmosphere. Nantwich, a riverfront town, is only a five-minute drive away.

What are the rooms and facilities on offer at Alvaston Hall?

Every room, offers a warm and welcoming factor to give you nothing short of a great night’s sleep. You'll find nice-to-have amenities including free Wi-Fi, towels, a TV, hairdryer, safe, comfy chairs and reading lights and tea & coffee-making facilities with biscuits.

There are numerous activities available at Alvaston Hall Leisure Club, including a well equipped fitness studio, Aerobic Classes, Tropicarium, Sauna and Steam Room, a completely air-conditioned gym, and a 20-meter heated swimming pool and spa pool.

What can guests enjoy when staying in the Nantwich area?

Alvaston Hall is the ideal starting point for experiencing Nantwich's historic architecture, but the neighbouring towns and cities are also worth a visit in their own right. There are a number of unique spots to visit in Cheshire, which are known for their independent boutiques and eateries. Please go to their website where to view a guide of all the best places to visit.

Where can guests enjoy food and drink?

All of the main restaurants are now serving a seasonal Market Kitchen menu as part of a new dining experience. With chefs focusing on the nation's favourite foods, the pull of bold British flavours is unmistakable. Breakfast is as big as it gets, and it's meant to be enjoyed slowly. At supper, the emphasis is on classic pairings, but always with the day's signature roast, as well as desserts and cheese platters that seem almost too good to eat.
