Overview

Stonor Park has been the historic family home of the Stonor family, for over 850 years - making it one of the oldest family homes still lived in today. When you visit, you will see why. The historic building and sweeping grounds are breath taking. And the family collection of art and artefacts is vast. This work by St. Edmunc Camion can be seen here where he was given refuge in 1581. And outside sits the houses oldest resident: a perfectly preserved prehistoric stone circle. Drink and food is served in The Stonor Pantry - a vibrant cafe situated in our medieval hall. Throughout the parklands, native wildlife, including Fallow Deer, Red Kites, Ravens and Buzzards flourishes. And mass is still celebrated every Sunday in the 14th Century chapel. Stonor Park is an electric celebration of life, time and creativity - a source of inspiration, enjoyment and discovery.
