The historical town of Hastings is set against a stunning backdrop of cliffs. With a thriving sea port and a lively seaside town atmosphere, it offers the benefits of being near the sea yet in the countryside. There is a large shopping centre with a host of specialist shops, bars and cafes. The pier was reopened in 2001 after extensive renovations.
