Explore Centuries of Style at Kensington Palace's state apartments and Royal Ceremonial Dress collection Experience Kensington Palace's state apartments and Royal Ceremonial Dress collection. Featuring the King's Staircase, a wonderful vivid painting by William Kent which shows George I's court in all its glamorous, riotous glory. The exquisitely decorated Cupola Room, the King's Drawing Room where power play and negotiation was the order of the day and the Privy Chamber where Queen Caroline entertained beneath a decorous, elaborate ceiling. In the dress collection, look out for the wonderful new exhibition based around the fabulous clothes worn by The Queen, Princess Diana and Princess Margaret. Five rooms of displays delve into how this regal trio's dress choices reflected the fashion of their day, from the nipped in waists of the 50s to the sparkles and shoulder pads of the 80s.
