This 16th century Z-plan tower house was the home of the Brodie family, who were influential in the clan battles of the 15th and 16th centuries until the end of the 20th century. Inside, the elegant rooms are filled with exquisite French furniture, German, European and Chinese porcelain and fine artwork, including items from the Dutch scene of the 17th century, 19th century German water colours, Scottish colorists and early 20th century works. The Castle, a mixture of architectural styles due to the continuous additional building of the family over the years, and its grounds make a perfect day out, with walks in the woods and wildlife.
