Experience a wonderful day out at Blickling Estate. Blicking Hall boasts an impressive collection of beautifully landscaped gardens, quiet parterres and an elegant Jacobean mansion to create a perfect day out. Visit the 16 rooms of this house (which everyone from the Boleyn family to the RAF called home) including the delightful Long Gallery, which has one of the largest collections of books in the world. The National Trust has also given an excellent overview of how life was above and below the stairs, so that you can learn about the people whose lives were created within the walls of Blickling.
What is there to see and do at Blickling Estate?
Look out for Peter the Great Room, which is occupied by the huge tapestry of Peter the Great in the Battle of Poltawa. Outdoors, close to the house, you'll find a lovely secret garden, an 18th century orange grove and a dry moat. The gardens are full of colour all year round and there is a large parkland with a pool.
