Based in the grounds of the hotel, the 6,579 yard Par 72 course has some classic mature features such as veteran oaks, with greens in impressive condition. There are fine views of the Cotswolds, Malverns and Tewkesbury Abbey.
Over the last 18 months, we have benefited from the advice of Peter McEvoy, ex England Amateur Champion and Walker Cup Captain, and international agronomist John Clarkin, who has prepared courses for Padraig Harrington and Rory McIlroy. We have received many compliments about the condition of our course which is well drained and usually playable throughout the year.
We regularly see non-golfers giving envious looks to those embarking on their round from the first tee. As a golf resort we can cater for all standards, so if you fancy giving it a go, we can provide the clubs and the tuition; one of our resident professionals, Mark Fenning or Mike Unwin would be delighted to help you. We also have a practice range and six hole par 3 course which is ideal for beginners.
