By car: From the south of the UK, head for the M74, then the A71 turn off at Strathaven. Continue on to Irvine, then take the A78 to Ardrossan and the Ferry terminal. From the north of Scotland or western isles, you can catch the summer?only ferry service from Claonaig (mainland) to Lochranza (north Arran). YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO BOOK YOUR CAR ON THE MAIN ARDROSSAN/BRODICK FERRY.
