Country Bumpkin Yurts, a countryside glamping experience, based on Waterloo Cottage Farm in Great Oxendon, has introduced a new way to relax and enjoy the East Midlands countryside whilst still having full access to all the modern amenities. Each of the yurts is built on a wooden platform, with stunning views across the farm. Two of the yurts sleep up to six people, and the smaller yurt is perfect for two. Each tent has a log burner, rustic furnishings, and cosy beds so you can sleep in comfort and style. You'll have everything you need with rustic-luxury private bathrooms, outdoor kitchenettes, and a communal indoor kitchen. The eco-friendly wood-burning hot tub adds to the yurt glamping experience and makes for the perfect addition for those looking for something extra special. With bridleways, great walking, cycling, leisure, and dining options nearby, what are you waiting for?
What makes a stay at Country Bumpkin Yurts unique?
Yurt is a Russian word that means "dwelling." It is a nomadic shelter where tribes from the Near East and Central Asia lived in for thousands of years. Country Bumpkin Yurts have added a touch of luxury to this traditional structure! A stay in a yurt will provide you with the uplifting and calming effects of living without corners in a circular space conducive to balance and harmony. And the roof window allows you to relax by watching the stars across the sky as you fall asleep. The architecture of yurts is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
