The Catgill family run farm is set in a magnificent setting in Bolton Abbey. You will find yourself surrounded by picturesque views of the lush, rolling hills of the Yorkshire Dales and a fantastic location with loads nearby to keep the whole family entertained. Since opening its doors in 2014, the campsite has become a firm favourite and has proved to be a massive hit whilst retaining much of its original charm. It is easy to see why, named "one of Britain’s top 5 coolest campsites" by the Telegraph.

What makes a stay at Catgill Farm – Camping and Luxury Glamping unique?

If you're searching for a luxurious stay you're not going to find better glamping than at Catgill Farm where the owners seem to have considered every detail. Choose between their woodland-themed bell tents or timber pods - both of which are truly unique spaces, set in a remote area on the edge of a mature forest with overhanging trees. Each tent and pod has it's own outside area that is smartly designed to enjoy the wonderful views. So whether you are relaxing in your private hot tub, kicking back in the lounge chairs, toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or enjoying a family meal from your spacious dining table you will be spoilt with some of the finest Yorkshires scenery as far as the eye can see.

Timber Pods There are no ordinary timber pods! Designed by the owner Oliver, who is also an architect, these are no ordinary pods, they are bigger than most and totally tailor-made. Fully isolated with central heating, all the facilities and the equipment in these spacious wooden pods rival the best of holiday cottages. They can comfortably sleep up to 6 people and include an ensuite, a kitchen, free WiFi, Netflix TV, sofa, dining table, and kids' bunk beds. When the day turns to night, dim the lighting to create a relaxing and romantic atmosphere where you can really unwind.

Bell Tents There are two giant luxury tents that are fitted to the very highest standards and share their own private toilet and showers for those that prefer and under canvas experience. These bell tents have everything you need, from cooking equipment to fairy lights and hot water bottles. They can accommodate up to 4 people with a log burner, heater, large driftwood bed and futons for the little ones. They have a sink with running water, wireless internet and electricity! This option brings all the joys of camping with all your comforts and creates a happy and relaxed atmosphere for the whole family.
