Discover one of Britain's best Landscape parks, with woodland walks and stunning coastal views
Sheringham Park gardens were designed by Humphry Repton in 1812, and are one of his outstanding achievements. The large woodland garden is particularly famous for its spectacular display of rhododendrons and azaleas (flowering in May-June). There are stunning views of the north Norfolk coast and countryside from the viewing towers and many delightful waymarked walks through the park and mature woods, including a route to Weybourne station on the popular North Norfolk Railway and another to the cliffs near the seaside resort of Sheringham. Look out for wildlife, 3 species of deer can be seen alongside a wide variety of birds and butterflies.
