Plas Newydd garden has both formal and informal styles. With magnificent views of the Snowdonia Peaks. The open-plan garden containing shrubs planted in the lawns to the more formal Italian-style garden to the front of the house. Where the conservatory once stood on the top terrace, there is now an arbour with water falling to a pool, with its Italianate fountain, on the bottom terrace. Major restoration of the Italiante garden is on-going including replanting of the mixed borders and the construction of a deep grotto. Although at its best in Spring, the gardens have interest throughout the year.
