Explore a beautiful seasonal Garden at Benthall Hall

This charming 19th century terraced garden is small but having once been the domain of botanist George Maw, is stuffed with fabulous items of horticultural interest. Highlights include a gorgeous rose garden, fruit trees, oceans of clematis and peonies and freely naturalised crocuses and daffodils. If you possibly can, get on the tour led by the head gardener who will lead you around the site and give you a wonderful potted history of the estate and the family and staff who have lived and worked there – fascinating. The hall itself is stunning to explore and afterwards leave time for refreshments and cake in the excellent tea rooms.
