Overview
Kilmartin Castle was built in 1550 for John Carswell, the Rector of Kilmartin, later Bishop of the Isles. It was held by the Campbell Clan, then abandoned for 200 years. Now, a luxury retreat for walkers, history lovers, couples, families & friends who enjoy discovering unique places to stay.
Guests say 'We wish we had stayed longer.'
All five double bedrooms have been individually designed to retain the rustic magic of Kilmartin Castle while still spoiling you with the comforts of modern living including wood burning stoves, walk in rain showers, copper baths and of course, luxury bedding.
