For a place known for its world-renowned racecourse, Newmarket was always going to have some quality places to stay nearby. Meadow House, a large modern house near Burwell, is a family-run affair offering smart spacious bedrooms – a mix of king size, doubles and twins – and honest home-cooked food. Two acres of wooded grounds provide the perfect playground for outdoor lovers and clipped lawns offer pleasant and peaceful views from your bedroom window.
