Experience life in the heart of historical Oxford - 'the city of dreaming spires'. The Oxford colleges offer simple B&B rooms set in beautiful buildings, with the opportunity to relax on the neatly mown lawns and quads, or mingle with students in the bar or cafe. All the time you will be tracing the footsteps of Gandhi, Bill Clinton, Hugh Grant, or the 25 British Prime Ministers who have passed through Oxford's colleges.
Choose from a variety of colleges; Keble and Wadham for example can be found in the heart of the city, wheras friendly St Hugh's is located in leafy North Oxford. Keble's sleeping quarters are comfortable and of a good size, but are of huge contrast to the neo-gothic grandeur of its dining hall – just like Hogwarts! Wadham's 17th century hall tops this according to some, and offers top-notch breakfasts. Wadham's student-simple bedrooms are reached via crenellated cloisters and blooming walled gardens. St Hugh's offers three residences (one historic), a student cafe, 14 acres of romantic gardens and a 15-minute walk into town.
