The Kite House, East Wittering

The Kite House is a home away from home on the beachfront in the famous Witterings. We are directly on East Wittering Beachfront which is half a mile from West Wittering and half a mile from Bracklesham. This is a perfect water-sports location popular with surfers, kitesurfers, windsurfers and paddle boarders. We have two luxury king sized double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms.

We are close to Goodwood Motor Circuit and Goodwood Racecourse, approximately 20-25 mins drive, and 12 minutes' drive from Chichester which is a beautiful historic cathedral city to explore. There are regular buses to and from Chichester and the main line station. The train is 1.5 hours to London Victoria and an hour from Gatwick.

East Wittering is a small village with a few shops and restaurants, perfect for a weekend getaway, or a longer break, and there are lovely walks around the peninsula and up into the South Downs of Sussex. The very popular sailing village of Itchenor is 10 mins drive from The Kite House, and it is possible to rent boats or take tours around Chichester's harbour. There are a few restaurants and cafes within walking distance of The Kite House.

Chichester is a beautiful Cathedral City, with wonderful shopping, museums, restaurants, and of course the Cathedral itself is well worth a visit. The Roman Palace archaeological site at Fishbourne is only 15 minutes drive from The Kite House and has the largest floor mosaic in the UK from the 1st century AD.

We have two friendly labrador dogs called Wilson and Jones who welcome all our guests, and they do live in the house, but they are not allowed in bedrooms or the kitchen. They get the best reviews! If you don't like dogs we are probably not the right place for you as they are an integral part of our home.

We do not have TVs in the bedrooms, however we do have very good WiFi which allows channels to be livestreamed via a tablet or laptop.
