What do you think makes a stay at Ingram House unique?
Ingram House is situated in a small rural village with numerous walks available from the doorstep into the Cheviot Hills.
The coast and many of the 82 castles are within easy driving distance and it's just 20 miles from the Scottish border, surrounded by farmland with sheep, cattle and deer in the fields.

Ingram House has four rooms. On the ground floor is a superking double or twin with an ensuite shower room, and upstairs there is a superking double or twin with an ensuite bathroom (with bath and no shower) a standard double with an ensuite bathroom (with bath and no shower) and a standard double with a private bathroom (with bath and no shower), not ensuite. The family dining room is used for breakfast. There is a two acre garden which guests are welcome to wander round, with plenty of seating.
Can you suggest any activities or things to do while staying in the Alnwick area?
Alniwck is a 20 minute drive away. This is an old market town with castle and gardens. There are many walks from the house and in the surrounding hills. The coast is a short drive away where guests will find sandy beaches, castles, boat trips to the Farne Islands or a drive to Lindisfarne - tides permitting.
