Every guest is welcomed with a homemade treat of lemon drizzle cake and shortbread. There's fresh milk in the silent fridge, with space to chill your own wine (wine and champagne glasses provided)
Dogs are welcomed in the ground floor barn room and have access to the large enclosed garden.
Breakfasts are enjoyed at individual tables in the large oak-framed sun room, with views across stunning countryside.
If guests choose not to go out in the evening, they can order a ploughman's, cheese, salmon or vegetarian platter to enjoy in their room.

Hopton House B&B has 2 large double bedrooms. The rooms are across from the main house in a separate annexe, and both have their own private entrance, meaning guests can come and go as they please.
The beds are super kingsize ( 6ft wide ) and there is both an armchair and sofa in each room.
The ground floor dog-friendly room has a wet room with power shower and a large bath for 2. The upstairs Granary room has a large freestanding bath for 2 and separate shower.
Both rooms have smart TV, WiFi, silent fridge, tea and coffee facilities, blu ray player and other amenities.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Craven Arms area?
Hopton House is centrally located for exploring South Shropshire, only 10 miles from Ludlow.
Guests can walk 25 minutes to the ruins of Hopton Castle. Despite being very rural, there is a request stop on the wonderful Heart of Wales railway line, just 2 minutes from the B&B. Guests can travel up to Church Stretton and Shrewsbury or down into Wales. There is also a bus service to Ludlow.
Leintwardine and Bucknell are just 3 miles away, and the lovely village of Clun is 6 miles. There are many lovely walks in South Shropshire, including the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones.
There are several National Trust Properties within a 40 minute drive.
Where can guests enjoy food and drink?
The closest pubs, all serving good food, The Lion and The Sun at Leintwardine and the Baron at Bucknell - all 3 miles away. Those who don't want to drive can take the train (not on Sundays) down to Bucknell or Knighton (the Red Lion and the Horse and Jockey both have good reputations for food).
