Claire and Richard Latimir offer a warm welcome to their beautiful Henllys Estate Bed & Breakfast which is situated near Llandovery in the Towy Valley, 10 minutes from the Brecon Beacons. The Henllys estate dates back to the late 16th century and is a historically listed site. The historic listed building stands in a stone courtyard and contains the original 200-year-old beams.

Each twin or double room is en-suite, has tea/coffee making facilities and digital TV. The luxury superior double/family room has a king-size bed, optional guest fold-away beds, vaulted ceilings and a large en-suite with bath and shower. They have plenty of off-road parking, walks through 12 acres of broadleaved woodland, nature reserve and a trout lake. They can offer a wide range of wonderful holistic treatments and yoga classes and picnics, lunches and evening meals with prior notice.
What can guests enjoy when staying in the Llandovery area?
If you enjoy gardens and historic houses, nearby Aberglasney is the place for you. The 568 acre National Botanical Garden and its centrepiece, the Great Glasshouse is the ideal place come rain or shine as there are many greenhouses and buildings to give you shelter. LLyn y Fan Fach is a must, you can take a gentle walk away from the lake or walk to the top of one of the peaks where you will find some breathtaking views. Dinas Bird Reserve is a real family favourite, there is a boardwalk through the woodland which the children love to play on.

Breakfast is served in the dining room, where you will find beautiful oak floors and 200 year old, exposed beams. There is a delicious cooked breakfast available using locally produced ingredients and alternatively for a lighter option you can choose cereal, fruit, yoghurt or toast. Your hosts can also offer picnics, lunches and evening meals with prior arrangement.
