Castle Farm House is a period property built in circa 1674 and is located in the picturesque feudal village of Rockingham located in the Welland Valley. Rockingham Castle sits at the top of the hill and goes back to the time of William the Conqueror. The Castle has connections to Henry VIII who leased the castle and land to Sir Edward Watson, it was taken by Cromwell's Roundheads during the civil war and has played host to the likes of Charles Dickens who found inspiration there for Chesney Wold in Bleak House.
