Overview

The best place to stay in Builth Wells is the four star Bronwye Guest House (graded by Visit Wales), situated overlooking the beautiful River Wye, the UK's longest river. A warm friendly welcome, comfortable stay and plentiful breakfast is guaranteed. Bronwye combines Victorian character with modern comfort. Our aim is to surpass your expectations.

As the closest Visit Wales graded guest house and bed & breakfast to the Royal Welsh Showground we are the only accommodation situated directly onto the Groe park, where our parkrun takes place every Saturday (returning soon!!). Bronwye is only 200 metres from the town centre, independent shops, several pubs, cafes and restaurants, where we are able to reserve tables during your stay as necessary. It really is the perfect location, conveniently situated for events at The Royal Welsh Showground, Golf courses, The Wye Valley Walk, The Heart of Wales Line Trail, Cycling, Fishing, Canoeing and generally chilling out. We can also arrange bespoke tours around the countryside with a local specialist - Welsh Overland Safari - see great waterfalls, hills and exquisite scenery. In addition bespoke guided walks are on offer for small group adventures in the wild spaces of Wales by https://www.walesoutdoors.co.uk

We have been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by Tripadvisor each year, a rating of 9.8 by Booking.com and we have also achieved the Recognition of Excellence from HotelsCombined.com

The Wye Valley straddles the border between England and Wales. It is home to some of the most attractive, scenic landscapes in the UK, and was established officially as an Area of Natural Beauty in 1971.
