Wildlife fanatic? You're going to love Go Ape at Woburn. Sandwiched between the M1 and A5, you can find Go Ape's high ropes experience in the heart of Britain's largest drive-through Safari Park. Located just off the B5704, the Treetop Challenge in Bedfordshire is a 2-3 hour experience. You'll get to clamber up rope ladders, traverse tricky crossings, swing into giant cargo nets, and ride super-fast zip wires. All in the incredible surroundings of Woburn Safari Park. And, if you're lucky, you may get to watch the elephants walk by for their daily stroll.

Go Ape Woburn provides the Treetop Challenge, a high ropes course situated in the picturesque grounds of Woburn Safari Park that features cargo nets, rope ladders, difficult crossings, and lightning-fast zip wires. In addition, visitors can elect to explore the safari park's recreation area and take advantage of optional upgrades that grant entry to the Road Safari. There aren't many options for watchers, and those who want to get up close to the animals can enter the safari park with additional admission.

You may explore Woburn Abbey and its lovely grounds, including Deer Park with public pathways, in the vicinity of Go Ape Woburn. In addition, Woburn Village, a charming Georgian village, has excellent restaurants and bars for dining and drinking. In addition, you may take use of the park's many activities, which include a railway, a pedalo boat trip around the lake, an outdoor play area, a foot safari, and an indoor soft play area.

Know Before You Go:

  • Wear sensible clothes for adventure. Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip off shoes, open toes or heels. 
  • Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

  • Explore the wonder of Woburn Abbey and the gardens.
  • Head over to the National Museum of Computing.
  • Double-up with a visit to Woburn Safari Park.
  • Bletchley Park, the home of the WW2 code breakers, is a short drive away.

Go Ape is situated within the Safari Park in the Leisure Area adjacent to the Australian Walkabout and Jungle Jamboree.

Access to the Safari Park is being strictly controlled so you may encounter slow traffic, please allow plenty of time on arrival. There may be queues for parking and to use the toilet facilities, please use the toilets closest to the car park (central courtyard and restaurant) before making your way to the Go Ape cabin. Please aim to arrive at the cabin 15mins ahead of your booking time, having used the facilities.

A vehicle is needed once arriving at the Safari Park to reach the Go Ape course so public transport is not recommended.

Parking is free, please arrive 30 minutes before your session.
