Set in the historic grounds of Alexandra Palace, Go Ape's high ropes adventures feature sensational views of North London and beyond. You'll find the location in the Upper Field, adjacent to the Boating Lake and cafe. It may not be your typical forest location but it features all of the key ingredients that Go Ape's customers love. Think super fast ziplines, high-wire crossings and free-fall Tarzan Swings. With three high ropes experiences on offer there really is something for all the family. Know before you visit:

• Wear sensible clothes for adventure.

• Footwear must be sturdy and suitable for the outdoors. No sandals, slip-off shoes, open toes or heels.

• Gloves are a good idea. Either bring a pair or you can buy them at the cabin on the day.

• Retainers for glasses can be purchased.

• Allow plenty of time to get to the cabin.

• Take a turn around London’s biggest ice rink.

• Paddle boat on the lake before a tasty snack at the Lakeside Café.

• In the summer, practice your golf swing on the 10-hole pitch and putt course.

• Bring the skateboard or watch the experts at the skate park.

By train: 

Head to Alexandra Palace Station, where you can take the W3 bus or walk (fifteen to twenty mins) directly to the venue. A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate (weekdays only) or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.

By car:

Parking for cars is limited and can get full very quickly, that's why it's recommended using one of the public transportation options. However, the nearest car park to Go Ape is the East car park if you drive.

By tube:

The nearest underground stations are Wood Green on the Piccadilly line and Finsbury Park on the Victoria line.

Note: The W3 bus runs from both of these tube stations and will take you to the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink stop or Palm Court entrance. The W3 runs every 5-8 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 9-12 minutes on Sundays.

By bus:

In addition to the W3 from Finsbury Park and Wood Green underground stations, if you are travelling from North London the 184 towards Turnpike Lane Station stops at Alexandra Palace Station. The 184 runs every 7-11 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 10-12 minutes on Sundays.
