By car: 

  • Take the A81 to Aberfoyle, at the roundabout, head towards Aberfoyle and then follow the signs for Callander A821 (A84) with brown signage for Forest Park Visitor Centre.
  • Head up the hill and follow the Brown signs for Go Ape into The Lodge Visitor Centre car park.
  • Then follow footpath signage to the Go Ape Cabin. Due to the rural nature of the locations, postcodes are not always accurate when using satellite navigation.
  • Please always check the route it has given you before setting off and cross-reference it with a map.
  • Car Park: Forestry Scotland manages the car park, costing £5 for cars and £14 for coaches (all day). 

By train:

  • The nearest train station is located at Stirling which is a 30 minute drive to Go Ape Aberfoyle. First ScotRail operates a service from Glasgow Queen Street to Stirling.
