DRC recreates the golden age of the Great Western Railway, with a fine collection of over 20 steam locomotives, many housed in the original 1932 engine shed, a collection of passenger coaches and freight wagons.
With examples of GWR buildings and infrastructure, including the original 1857 Transfer Shed.
Where is Didcot Railway Centre located?
Reasonably centrally located, the DRC site is adjacent to the Didcot Parkway rail station, with access to the centre through the main line station subway.

The Didcot Railways Centre offers static (exhibition) days, running days with steam and/or diesel locomotives where guests may travel in vintage GWR carriages behind one of the GWR steam engines, gala days, and a Day Out With Thomas experience!
