Due to renovations, the Visitors Centre Exhibition will be closed. You are still able to enter the factory experience on a self – guided tour.
From 30th October the Pavilion Café will be closed in the Winter Months.

As the only remaining UK glass factory, Dartington Crystal Torrington is the home of British glass making. Visitors can watch skilled glass makers in action creating beautiful things from molten crystal. The family- friendly visitor centre showcases the unique story of Dartington and its products through six decades. There’s a lot to see and do for all ages with live demonstrations and fascinating displays.
Free entry for children (under 16)

From junction 27 M5 – approx 50 mins From Barnstaple or Bideford – approx 25 mins Once at Great Torrington they are clearly signposted

There are lots to see and do for all the family at Dartington Crystal. The fascinating factory tour lets you ‘get up close’ and watch the crafting and making process of fine crystal. The Visitor Centre lets you learn more of the brands unique story and development since 1967. Watch the Master Engraver create unique works of art.

Great Torrington is a friendly, welcoming town, set in the midst of rolling, unspoilt green countryside. An ancient settlement extraordinarily sited on an inland cliff top with steep drops down to the River Torridge below.
