Living in Blackpool, we decided to join as we really enjoy the zoo and are animal lovers. That was over five years ago!! The zoo always has something new to offer, for all ages. Whether it's the Lions ('Pride Of Blackpool') or the Play barn for kids. There has been a lot of development over recent years, with new sea-lion and penguin pools, to the recent addition of wolves in Blackpool. This year sees the opening of a new orang-utan house, so we can't wait to get back soon to have a look. Blackpool Zoo holds a wealth of rare breeds and incredible species and is a great day out for all the family! KurtH

We have been members of the zoo for several years now and can thoroughly recommend it for a day out or even just a quick visit. There is always something different to see including lots of new babies and developments of the enclosures etc... The staff are all very friendly and helpful and we now know several of them by name! As members we get to go to free presentations given by staff approximately 6 times a year (with free refreshments). There are also special offers for us such as a discount in the shops/restaurants. Definitely one of Britain's finest! PhilipY
