The Bay Horse Hotel was once a staging post for coaches that crossed the sands of Morecambe Bay to Lancaster in the 18th Century. The house stands at the waters edge of the Leven Estuary, commanding views of both the Lancashire and Cumbrian fells. There are nine en-suite bedrooms, six of which have French windows out onto a terrace. All are individually decorated and furnished with all the facilities one would expect to provide a 'home from home'. The restaurant serves locally sourced produce where possible, with a weekly changing menu from simple dishes to the more adventurous and imaginative ones.
