Built in 1741 Newton House is one of Knaresborough’s finest examples of Georgian architecture offering highly commended four star accommodation, a civilized, relaxed atmosphere and a genuine warm welcome from your host Denise. The spacious bedrooms are smart, comfortable and tastefully decorated, whilst retaining the character of the stylish building. Newton House has gained the AA Eggcup award for outstanding breakfasts. Well sourced local ingredients, seasonal produce and home-made preserves are the key to the extensive breakfast menu, cooked to order. Newton House is fully licensed and has a cosy sitting room with daily newspapers, books, games, TV, and Knaresborough’s smallest bar!
