White Moss House

White Moss House is situated at the northern end of beautiful Rydal Water between Grasmere and Windermere. This little gem was once owned by the poet, William Wordsworth. Wordsworth's Dove Cottage is a mile's walk away at Grasmere, and his later home, Rydal Mount, just half a mile south along the lake. The hotel has just 5 bedrooms in the main house, and Brockstone Cottage up on the hillside. Its an ideal place in the Lake District for a house party. For small groups of friends and families exclusive use of the hotel and restaurant makes this a perfect place for a reunion or celebration. Expect freshly squeezed orange juice, porridge or kippers for breakfast and sophisticate suppers with a range of excellent wines.
