The Oaks Hotel is located in the West Country, on the border between Devon and Somerset and commands an elevated position on the edge of the pretty village of Porlock - where the Exmoor National Park meets the sea. All of the rooms offer en-suite baths and showers, televisions, tea making facilities and wonderful views but its the food that most people come for. The Dining room enjoys one of the finest views in the area, with tables arranged around the panoramic windows and the food is uncomlicated but full of flavour. EVerything from the breakfast marmalade to the after dinner chocolates is handmade in the kitchen.

| Local directions: | Approaching the village of Porlock from east side of the A39, as you start to enter the village the main road narrows into a single track as it drops down, (difficult to believe this is an A road) as it opens up again the Oaks Hotel sign is immediately on your left. Approaching the village, from the west, you come down Porlock Hill, drive through the village, as you start to leave the village the road divides and our sign is on your right. |
