Lastingham Grange hotel was transformed in the early 1920s from a 17th century farm house into the fine country house that it is today. The building is set in ten acres of well kept gardens and fields, on the edge of the moors in the historic village of Lastingham. Twelve bedrooms have been tastefully decorated, all have their own private bathroom. The good food and personal, courteous service are highly renowned and there is a spacious, comfortable sitting room with an open fire and views onto the terrace and rose garden beyond.
