The house is a converted ancient stone building that was once used as a fishing lodge, with surrounding grounds and scenery that make it excellent for a family holiday or romantic getaway, as well as being recommended for study or as a writer's retreat. Conservation has been practised passionately in the area, meaning that visitors can enjoy much wildlife and fauna while relaxing in a tranquil atmosphere overlooking the River Orchy.
