The Hytte, Bingfield, Hexham, Northumberland

The Hytte is a Northumberland self-catering holiday cottage that has extensive facilities and sleeps up to eight guests. The cottage was designed with Norwegian heritage in mind and sits comfortably with the surrounding landscape with a grass roof and environmentally friendly policy. Guests can enjoy the use of a sauna and hot-tub spa, underfloor heating and spacious living areas. and good TV entertainment is also available, outdoor play field including a trampoline, though there is a great deal to do in the local area that has many historic sites unique to Northumberland, with Hadrian's Wall a short distance away, as well as castles.

Local directions: From M6 Carlisle in west or A1 Newcastle Join A69 to Corbridge. At Corbridge head north on A68 (signed Stagshaw, Jedburgh) for 3 miles to Stagshaw round about, continue straight on A68 for a further 2 miles, ignore first right turn signed Bingfield and take the 2nd right to Bingfield (old school with red tiled roof on corner) Hytte 50m. up the road on the left. From the north head south on the A68, we are 1 mile south of Colwell Road ends. Take first left turn to Bingfield, Hytte 50 m up road on left.
