| Local directions: | If approaching from Sheffield/Hope direction: Turn right in Hope onto Edale Road. Go past The Cheshire Cheese pub on your left. Under a railway bridge and keep going until you pass a farm and a trekking centre on your left (about 8 minutes). Go under the railway bridge, past a phone box on the right & a row of cottages on the left, and then a tumble down barn on your right. Skinners’ Hall is the house immediately after on the left hand-side. If approaching from Manchester/Chapel-en-le-Frith direction: Turn left to Edale when sign posted on the A6128 (still shown as the A625 on some road maps.) Follow the road all the way down into the valley. Pass the turning on your left sign posted to Edale village and Edale Car Park immediately after it. Skinners Hall is the next house you see by the road on the right hand-side. |
