These nine luxury cottages converted from barns and stables and sitting on a family farm just two miles from the pretty market town of Boston provide a perfect setting for family get-togethers (they sleep 38 people) or romantic getaways. Inside Elms Farm Cottages, think leather sofas, oak floors, ample dining space, fully equipped kitchens, flat screen TVs, wifi and cosy wood burners. Four cottages have wet-room showers suitable for the elderly and disabled. Outside, a meadow of wild flowers gives kids plenty of space to run around while you tuck into the complimentary welcome hamper and local produce. What’s more, the local pub is just 250 metres away. With sandy beaches, animal parks (do not miss the wonderful National Parrot Sanctuary at Friskney) and country walks on the doorstep plus free fishing on site, this makes for a super British break.
