Popular with both locals and tourists who stumble across this distinctive and popular pub with rooms, The White Hart serves up a short and uncomplicated menu, which draws influence from the Mediterranean. Light lunches can be chosen from a range of popular signature tapas plates such as rough pesto and bread or mint and lemon houmous. Alternatively, focus your attentions on the a la carte with dishes such as crispy lime polenta chips, rocket, fennel and sweet chilli followed by baked fillet of pork wrapped in bacon with red pesto and broad bean salsa. A simple dining room with stripped wood floors, church chairs and antique pine tables is bested in summer by the pretty alfresco courtyard at the back of the building.
