A traditional white washed inn houses this award winning restaurant with rooms. Clubby leather sofas and armchairs in front of an inglenook fireplace provide a comfortable venue to peruse the menu before entering one of the two dining rooms, each with their own distinct and individual character. The kitchen’s philosophy is to use the finest ingredients available, sourced locally where possible, to create simple modern British cuisine where flavour and quality are the benchmarks. Being predominantly a fish restaurant - although there are meat options - starters might include chilli salt squid and a cured and smoked fish platter to be followed by lobster Thermidor or their famous fish and chips. A well selected wine list offers a good choice of sensibly priced wines.
