Contemporary meets classic at The Swan in West Malling set in a 15th century coaching inn where blonde wood floors, neutral walls, original restored beams and contrasted by splashes of stainless and granite. Today, The Swan is a bustling bar and brasserie set over three floors which offers decadent dining in a timeless chic setting and enjoys Philippe Starck chunky oak and zinc tables and pale leather chairs. Outside is a stunning Mediterranean garden complete with olive trees and a beautiful paved terrace. There are also three private dining rooms. The Swan embraces classic British cuisine and finest seasonal ingredients try the Kentish blue and chicory tartlets with walnut and honey salad to start followed by the Gressingham duck breast, winter vegetable and star anise casserole.
